Ah, I see what you did there. :3

Very nice percussive remix... though it is lacking somethin'. I just can't put my finger on it.

paradiddlesjosh responds:

The missing ingredient is non-percussive timbres. xD

Thanks for your review, Shawn. :D

At first, I thought this was the wrong one.

Served me right for making judgments before the song even picked up. Nice job you two! Keep up the good work.

paradiddlesjosh responds:

I was wondering who would get trolled by the intro! Thanks, Shawn. :D

Holy f*cking sh*t. This is just absolutely... WOW.

This is way too amazing for the mere mortal to listen to and live after hearing. It's just that awesome. It is practically fit for gods!

rtnario responds:

Whoa. Exaggerated review much XDDDD But I'm glad you liked it!

The name of this is gonna confuse me forever.

That is mainly due to the fact that Freya, the Nordic goddess of fertility, is also a character in Valkyrie Profile, so I'm gonna get a bit confused for a while, but no harm done.

Still, very peaceful yet very awesome. :D

paradiddlesjosh responds:

It isn't spelled "Freja" in Valkyrie Profile? That's the "official" Norse spelling.

Thanks for your review, Shawn. :D

This is better than my mom's best cooking.

And dude, her best cooking is pretty damn rad.
So you get full score from me, because this is just simply awesome.

paradiddlesjosh responds:

What I lack in punctuality, I more than make up for in musical execution, I guess. :D

Thanks for your review, Shawn.

I like it, man. :D

Holds power, has awesome guitar stuff, and an overall great song in itself. I like your rendition, you guys!

paradiddlesjosh responds:

Thanks, Shawn! The guitars are kinda too loud, though... It didn't sound this out-of-balance in the lab. No clue what happened here, man. xD

You know what, this is full-vote material.

This is too awesome, man. I didn't think these two would mix well together, but you sure proved me wrong. Full score. Congrats to you, Chocosoda, and his girlfriend on getting this bastard done. :D

paradiddlesjosh responds:

We had a hell of a time working on this one. I'm starting to lose hearing in the upper pink noise band, so I can't EQ guitars anymore. :( Fortunately, Choco's hearing is still good, so he helped me out with more than just recording 'em. I really can't thank him enough for helping me with this project.

Thanks for your review, Shawn. :D

This is crazy!

And that's a compliment!

Dude, I see why you helped me out here. You've got musical finesse that I don't possess, lol. This is a phenomenal piece here. And I've played PWI too!

XayberOptix responds:

Hi SSJ3-Goku4567! Thank you for your compliment! Where I can help, I do my best to. I only wish to inspire my peers (everyone who is an artist) and be constructive towards their works rather than to discourage them and destroy their dreams of becoming the great artist that they will become! :)

I do like this, but I can't say it's perfect, yet.

Don't get me wrong, Josh, this is a good mix of the FFX battle theme, but it... doesn't sound right without Chocosoda's guitars. I understand you had a deadline to meet, but that's what's kinda draining this song of its "oomph" for me. However, I do like to say that this is very well composed, having been done in a strain of time when you had to rush and meet the deadline, then missing it by 8 minutes. Despite the problems with it, this is still very well done.

Hey, why don't you run on by and give my newest J-E-N-O-V-A take a listen? You're not the only one still doing Final Fantasy these days. :D

8/10, 4/5.

paradiddlesjosh responds:

I heard it a couple days ago and thought it was awesome, but I didn't have time to write a review! Let me do that in a little bit.

Anyro', I disliked using the soundfont guitars as much as most dislike hearing them. Though it helps that I learned that FL Studio's Hardcore is the equivalent of Logic's Pedalboard, the difference in sound quality between the two effects sets (both of them DSPs masquerading as guitar pedal boards -- small effect chains, basically, for those who don't know) keeps me from liking it. However, if I'd had FL Studio 9 five years ago and discovered Hardcore, I'd have used it at every opportunity.

Thanks for reviewing, Shawn. :)

I like it!

I like this remix, man!

HighwindLegend responds:

Glad to hear it!
